World's ugliest dog dies
The world's ugliest dog has died.
Elwood the pooch, who was dubbed a ''cross between ET and Yoda'' after being crowned World's Ugliest Dog, passed away unexpectedly aged eight.

The canine's tongue used to constantly stick out because he didn't have any teeth on the left side of his jaw and his owner Karen Quigley once told how he was nearly put down as a puppy because his breeder thought he was too ugly.
Speaking after the dog's sudden death, she said: ''The best part was he did not suffer, he was in my arms and with me.
''I couldn't be more proud that people who haven't met him loved him.''
