The truth about UFOs will be made public in a year's time.
Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart has spent years reporting on extraterrestrials and is convinced that anonymous whistleblowers will reveal information about aliens that is being concealed by the world's governments.
Coulthart, who has not personally seen a UFO or aliens, told Melbourne radio host Neil Mitchell: "I think that the world will probably know publicly within, I suspect, 12 to 18 months."
The reporter feels that there is an "extremely high probability" that humans are not the sole intelligent species in the universe.
He said: "I also think from the sources that I speak to, there is a preponderance of evidence to suggest, at least prima facie, that we should assume that we are being visited by a non-human intelligence."
