Trotting around a room like a horse has been voted as one of the stupidest wellness trends.
Prancercise, which is described as a "springy, rhythmic way of moving forward" like a horse, came sixth in a table of mocked health trends.
Other bizarre trends include laughtercise - chuckling and giggling for no reason - and drinking cabbage soup for a week.
Following a diet of baby food topped the poll, which was conducted by the hotel chain TUI Blue.
2,000 people who admitted experimenting with strange wellness trends were surveyed.
A spokesman said: "Over half - 54 per cent - admitted feeling worse after trying a new fad."
Three-quarters of those who went on a wellness retreat - such as yoga or cold therapy - in an attempt to 'de-stress' found that it was a waste of time.
Six in ten of those polled said traditional ways to improve wellness, such as a walk on the beach or a night out with friends, were more effective.
