Man gets toilet roll holder stuck up butt
A man had to call the fire brigade after getting a toilet roll holder stuck up his butt, and the emergency services arrived at his home and removed the item.
The man - who has not been named - dialed 999 from his mobile phone while he was in his house in Newport, south Wales, after somehow getting the object lodged in his bum.
''To be honest, if I managed to get myself into one of these sorts of scrapes, the last thing I would want would be a whole crew of firefighters coming to see me.''
Firemen arrived and took the item out of his rear, and paramedics provided him with medical attention.
The Fire Brigades Union in Wales said: ''We do have to deal with wacky things.
''Sometimes someone will tell you a story and you just think, 'I can't top that.'
''To be honest, if I managed to get myself into one of these sorts of scrapes, the last thing I would want would be a whole crew of firefighters coming to see me.''
