Tinder and Spotify have revealed that Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' is their Top Anthem in the UK.
The dating app teamed up with the music streaming service earlier this year so singletons can add a song of their choice to their profile, which best suits their personality and traits.
Other popular hits were Drake's 'Fake Love' and The Weeknd's 'Starboy'.
Jess Carbino, Tinder's in-house sociologist, believes that the research shows that many love songs are being used because 80 per cent of people studied are looking for a long-term relationship.
She said: ''Tinder Anthems provide an additional dimension for potential matches to asses our personality and intentions. 80 per cent of Tinder users are seeking a relationship that is more long term in nature, which could explain why we see love as a recurring theme in many of these songs.''
