A herd of hungry sheep devoured 100kg of cannabis in Greece.
The animals invaded a greenhouse producing medical cannabis as they struggled to find fresh grass to eat due to extreme flooding and a shepherd noticed that they started behaving strangely.
The owner of the cannabis crop said it had already been damaged by a heatwave and Storm Daniel and the sheep finished "what was left".
They told TheNewspaper.gr website: "I don't know if it's for laughing or crying.
"We had the heatwave and we lost a lot of production.
"We had the floods, we lost almost everything.
"And now this. The herd entered the greenhouse and ate what was left. I don't know what to say, honestly."
Weed has been legal in Greece for medicinal purposes since 2017 but it can be dangerous for animals - with cannabis poisoning among dogs on the rise.
