Sir Anthony Hopkins is Britain's all-time favourite Oscar winner.
In a poll conducted by Cineworld, the 77-year-old actor - who received an Academy Award for his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in 'The Silence of the Lambs' - earned 32 percent of the vote, putting him marginally ahead of Colin Firth.
Despite this, Firth topped the list among female voters for his role as Prince Albert in 'The King's Speech', earning 39 percent of their vote.
Dame Helen Mirren (11 percent), Daniel Day Lewis (10 percent) and Kate Winslet (nine percent) rounded off the top five on the list of Britain's all-time favourite Oscar winner.
