The furthest galaxy from Earth has been spotted by scientists.
The galaxy is named HD1 and is 13.5 billion lightyears away from planet Earth and scientists have been discussing exactly what it could be.
The experts have proposed two ideas, with one suggesting that HD1 could be forming stars at an astonishing rate and could possibly be home to the universe's very first stars.
Alternatively, HD1 could contain a supermassive black hole around 100 million times the mass of the Sun.
Fabio Pacucci, the lead author of the research, said: "Answering questions about the nature of a source so far away can be challenging.
"It's like guessing the nationality of a ship from the flag it flies, while being faraway ashore, with the vessel in the middle of a gale and dense fog. One can maybe see some colours and shapes of the flag, but not in their entirety. It's ultimately a long game of analysis and exclusion of implausible scenarios."
