Scientists have developed a miracle pill to keep people skinny.
A team at the University of Texas have come up with a drug that accelerates the body's metabolism and makes it a lot more efficient at breaking down sugar and fat.
The pill works by restricting magnesium from being transported into the mitochondria - the part of the cell that is responsible for producing energy and burning calories.
The drug has been trialled on mice and it was found that the rodents "became skinny" after eating a high-calorie Western diet.
Biochemist Dr. Madesh Muniswamy, who led the research, said: "A drug that can reduce the risk of cardiometabolic diseases such as heart attack and stroke, and also can reduce the incidence of liver cancer, which can follow fatty liver disease, will make a huge impact. We will continue its development."
