An animal rescuer discovered nearly 100 rattlesnakes under a house in California.
Al Wolf, from Sonoma County Reptile Rescue, was called out to a property when a resident saw a snake slithering under the building. He then discovered dozens of the reptiles taking shelter when he looked under the house.
Wolf told WABC-TV: "It took about three hours, but I found a total of 92 rattlesnakes under that house, I was tickled pink, I wish that happened everyday to me."
The rescuer – who shared a snap of the critters to Facebook - admits that it was unusual to find so many rattlesnakes in a single place and blamed a recent drought in the area for the problem.
Wolf explained: "The drought will cause them to go to areas where there's water, looking for lizards and rodents."
