A real human skull has been included in a Halloween-themed display at a charity shop.
An anthropologist made the shocking discovery at a charity shop in Florida, and the issue was subsequently referred to the local police force.
Lee County Sheriff's Office said in a statement: "In a twist of not-so-humerus events: today, Lee County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit detectives were notified of a skull located at a thrift store in North Fort Myers ... Based upon the observations of detectives on scene, the skull is believed to be that of a human."
The Sheriff's Office now intends to work with the District 21 Medical Examiner's Office to conduct further tests on the remains.
Despite this, the case isn't thought to be suspicious.
