Quarter of Brits think aliens live next door
Nearly a quarter of Britons think there are aliens living amongst them.
To celebrate the upcoming release of the new series of 'Defiance' the channel Syfy has commissioned a survey into people's beliefs about aliens and found that while approximately two thirds of the population believe in aliens, a further half believe earth has at least been visited by UFOs.
Meanwhile, a large sum of the 2,000 Brits questioned for the research confessed they thought public figures and celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise and Boris Johnson could be aliens inhabiting earth in disguise.
Following up on their research, Syfy decided to give a pair of models an intensive, three-hour-long makeover to create an alien-like image and then set them loose on London to see what the public's reaction was.
'Defiance' airs on Syfy on Thursday September 18 at 9pm.
