A seagull has been terrorising a puppy by swooping down to steal its toys.
The 15-week-old border terrier named Peg has been a victim of bullying by the menacing bird.
The pestering gull, named Cedric, has made off with soft toys, squeaky toys and balls on numerous occasions and also likes to taunt the tiny dog by drinking from Peg’s water bowl before flipping it over.
Peg's owner Mark Tutton, from Sandown in the Isle of Wight, told the Daily Star: “He picked up the squeaky chicken toy and flew up on to next door’s roof squeaking it.
“He comes in the garden, had a drink out of Peg’s bowl and then tips it over.
‘He also pecks on the patio door after knocking the water over and stares at Peg like he’s teasing her.”
On top of harassing the pet, Cedric also makes a beeline for Mark's potted plants and has left the garden in a complete mess.
He added: “We go out there and we know Cedric’s been because all of the flowers in the pots have been pulled out.”
