A parcel addressed to ''somewhere in Sheffield'' was delivered to the right place by a postman.
David Easson received a parcel of chocolate bars from a friend in Sweden but rather than write an address, sender Marten Wedebrand parcel simply noted down some details about the radio journalist.
Postman Darrell Gilmour was able to track him down after finding him on social media, and Easson praised the postman for a ''great bit of detective work''.
He added: ''Marten Wedebrand is an old acquaintance [who] first started listening to me on radio a long while back.
''He really could've just asked for my address. Instead he put a rather garbled CV of mine on an envelope.''
David explained how he received a Facebook message from Darrell in the middle of the night regarding the package.
He said: ''At this time there's so much pressure on them, so to find me like this, I really didn't mind the 3.35am Facebook message. Great bit of detective work.''
