A woman was baffled by a fellow plane passenger drying playing cards on the flight.

Jayne Sharpe was heading from Nice to Heathrow this week when she was startled by an unnamed man's ''random'' use of the personal air con as he dried out his damp deck - one by one - for the entire hour and 45 minute journey.
She wrote on Twitter: ''What's the most random act that's wound you up on a plane?
''Mine's this bloke next to us who spent the entire journey from Nice to Heathrow individually drying out every single playing card in the bloody pack.
''The Queen of Clubs proved to be particularly damp.''
