A university graduate has started a business turning placentas into photograph frames.
''I have had a lot of positive feedback from mothers and fathers to be - and I already have clients.''
Amanda Cotton has been inundated with orders from parents after coming up with the unusual idea, which sees her boil and cook the placenta and then grind it into pieces before putting it into a mould together with resin.
The 25-year-old former student - who graduated in 3D materials practice - said: ''I have had a lot of positive feedback from mothers and fathers to be - and I already have clients.''
The majority of parents then use the frame to put a picture of their newborn.
