Pistachio nuts can help you see in the dark.
Experts claim that snacking on just two handfuls of the nuts per day allows people to see better when they get older as they are superior to carrots when it comes to improving eyesight.
The nuts are believed to be full of antioxidants that act like "sunglasses for your eyes".
Dr. Tammy Scott, a neuropsychologist at Tufts University in Massachusetts, said: "Our study shows pistachios aren't just a tasty snack - they may be great for your eyes.
"Eating a small amount every day can help protect your vision, especially as you get older."
Snacking on pistachio nuts raises levels of lutein in the body which protects the retina from harmful blue light.
The antioxidant is also found in smaller doses in carrots, kale and spinach and shields the eye from damage by filtering light.
