The museum's latest prehistoric resident, Fern the Diplodocus, is sporting the attraction's 2024 Christmas jumper that comes in vibrant shades of red, blue, green and white.

The animatronic T. rex made its home in the museum's newly transformed gardens in July and is based on the model of the nation's favourite dinosaur, Dippy.

The festive jumper also features a backdrop of the museum's famed South Kensington building on the back along with Christmas trees and Santa hats. The design is also available in a scarf, hat and socks.

The winter collection has been exclusively created for the museum by notjust, a Manchester-based social enterprise and ethical factory – with 100 per cent sustainable organic cotton.

Adam Farrar, Director of Commercial and Visitor Experience at the Natural History Museum, said: "The annual unveiling of our Christmas T. rex display has become a firm favourite amongst our audiences, and we are delighted to kick off festivities at the Museum with our prehistoric pal. All proceeds from our Christmas range including our Christmas knitwear will continue to support our world-leading scientific research and public programming."
