A driver notified the local authorities after filming the Aussie marsupial jumping around a highway and no one knows how it got there at roughly 8am.
On a Facebook post, South Zealand and Lolland-Falster police shared the footage taken by the driver - showing the kangaroo leaping in a nearby field - while appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they worried about the danger to both the boudining animal and fellow car users.
On Monday, the local zoo Knuthenborg Safari Park said all of their roos were accounted for and the search continues.
