A message in a bottle travelled 2,000 miles from Canada to Scotland.

Sharon and Michael Cox were walking on the Isle of Barra when the bottle caught the attention of their dog.
The couple opened the bottle and were shocked to find a handwritten note that was dropped into the ocean off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada by a girl named Kaya.
Sharon revealed how Kaya's family got in touch after seeing their post about the discovery on social media and they are now planning to return a message with some help from local school pupils.
Cox told the Press and Journal newspaper: "We shall be writing to the address given on the back of the letter and putting together a wee gift box from Barra, enclosing some notes from Barra schoolchildren to send to Kaya."
