McDonald's have revealed the reason they don't offer mayonnaise in their UK branches.

The popular fast-food chain offers a range of condiments but customers are unable to have the egg-based sauce with their meal - despite featuring in a number of menu items including the Mayo Chicken.
Now, it has been said that the reason they don't dish it out is because it's not in ''demand''.
A spokesperson told Cosmopolitan: ''What we offer in our restaurants is based on customer demand.
''We don't currently have any plans for mayonnaise to be made available.''
