A man had his stereo confiscated after playing the 'Titanic' theme tune too loudly.
''It felt like it was a witch hunt.''
Gareth Davies has had £3,000 worth of sound equipment seized by his local council in Kent, southeast England after neighbours complained about him blaring tracks including Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'.
The 47-year-old former window salesman is also accused of playing the 'Toy Story' theme tune 'You've Got A Friend In Me' at a deafening volume but he claims residents in the area are being unreasonable.
He told Kent Online: ''It felt like it was a witch hunt.''
Mr. Davies iPod, speakers, 3D TV and PlayStation3 were all confiscated by Medway Council, who say their actions were justified.
The council's portfolio holder for community safety, Peter Hicks, said: ''Anyone who blasts music or creates other noise nuisance should let this be a warning to them.''
