A pet pig in Tennessee might be the oldest one in the world.
The current Guinness World Recorder holder is a pig called Baby Jane - who died, aged 23, but Trey Hunt, a 28-year-old resident of Knoxville claims that he got Snort, a pig as a present for his birthday when he turned four, which would make the little porker 24, nearly a quarter of a century and a year older than the reigning piggie champion.
However, the Hunt family could have trouble proving this as Trey and his mother Karla might be a little light on proof.
He told WBIR-TV: “"It's not like we have a birth certificate so all we have is pictures of when we when I got him and pictures of, you know, me and him, you know, different ages."
However, their still hope as they are still in cahoots about the little hog, who is deaf and blind but believed to be “healthy”.
Karla said: “"If we could prove it, I know we could get in, but you know, there again, I don’t even know how we are going to prove it.”
