A man has been reunited with his phone after losing it in a river 10 months ago.
Owain Davies dropped his iPhone into the River Wye whilst canoeing on a stag do in Gloucestershire in August 2021.
The device was found by Miguel Pacheco earlier this month as he canoed with his family and he decided to track down the owner after drying the phone.
He told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "I know if I lost my phone, I've got a lot of pictures of my children, I know I'd want that back."
Davies was eventually reunited with the smartphone thanks to a Facebook appeal and was impressed at Pacheco's efforts to recover the device.
He said: "My natural reaction would be to hand it in to the nearest pub. It wouldn't be able to use my air compressor to dry it out and dismantle it."
