A 13-foot crocodile was freed from the tire stuck around its neck for the last six years in Indonesia.
Tili, a 34-year-old local resident of the Sulawesi Island, freed the huge and deadly reptile from the motorcycle part - which was first spotted around its neck in 2016 by wildlife professionals - after a three week mission.
Using chicken as bait and a collection of ropes, he filmed himself eventually pulling the tire from the crocodile after two failed attempts.
In 2020, the National Resources Conservation Agency issued a cash prize for anyone who could put the poor thing out of misery but it was scrapped after it failed to rouse any applicants.
Tili said that he was motivated to save the crocodile because he felt so sorry for him.
