A man miraculously avoided death after a tree struck by lightning crashed into his car.
Henri Cheramie was sat in his vehicle when a storm hit Alabama earlier this month. He looked up to the sky after spotting the lightning before suddenly finding his car crushed under a giant branch from a tree hit by the strike.
The tree landed across the front windows and would've likely killed Cheramie had he not moved just seconds beforehand.
He told the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper: "I see lightning just arc across the sky and hit a tree.
"I lean a bit and went, 'Did lightning just strike that?' and the next thing I know, half of my body is out of the sunroof and the top of the car is being weighed down by a giant branch that is bisected just where my face is.
"I felt like Buster Keaton."
