A man has been stung on his penis by a venomous stingray barb whilst swimming.
In the Hainan resort city of Sanya, China, an unfortunate man's day at the beach fell short of his expectations, after he was left in excruciating pain because of a razor-sharp stingray bite.
Whilst the man was laying on the shore in agony, and the stingray beside him, a large crowd gathered and paramedics rushed to his side, where the venomous barb was cut and he was rushed to hospital.
Stingrays aren't dangerous, but when they feel threatened they will use their venomous tail to protect themselves from a potential attack.
