A man planted Christmas trees to fill potholes.

Kevin Martin was left exasperated by the potholes in Massachusetts when they left his tyres flattened and decided to bring a festive touch to the roads in the US state.
Martin explained how he had previously complained about the potholes to the town and state governments but no action was taken, so he chose to plant the trees to make sure his cause was noticed.
He told WJAR-TV: "I needed to make sure that it got fixed one way or another. I know that I'm not the only person who's gotten flat tyres from that area."
Martin's drastic measures worked, as the Christmas trees were removed and the potholes were filled earlier this week.
