A 'meat-obsessed' father made a birthday cake out of steak for his son.

Jeff Janes created the delicacy to mark his son Zander's ninth birthday and made it using three cuts of the meat with mashed potato as the 'icing'.
Janes posted images of the snack on social media and it has been shared more than 100,000 times.
He told LADbible: "Zander hadn't asked for a steak cake but I had seen a video online and thought I could take on the challenge and even improve on the concept for his birthday.
"I had to start all three cuts at different times so they would come out exactly medium rare at the same time along with the mash potatoes being done too."
