A man was arrested after showering commuters with money from a window.
The 29-year-old was apprehended by police for scattering a "heavenly rain of banknotes" from his apartment window while he was allegedly high on the drug methamphetamine.
Officers said that the man, named Bo, was "in a trance" as threw roughly £23,000 down to commuters in the city of Chongqing, China.
Footage of the incident went viral as traffic ground to a halt with people running into the road to catch the fluttering notes.
An official police statement said: "29-year old Shapingba District resident Bo used methamphetamine in his home and, in a haze, threw money towards the ground from his balcony."
