A snake delayed a AirAsia flight

The AirAsia flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Kuching for fumigation while going from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau after passengers alerted the pilot the creature was slithering across the aircraft.

In response, the airline’s chief safety officer Liong Tien Ling said: “This is a very rare incident which can occur on any aircraft from time to time.”

He assured that the necessary action was taken to remove the snake safely.

Video footage shared to Tik Tok showed the slinky reptile going across the overhead lights. No one was reported to have been injured and none of the plane’s passengers claimed to own the snake.
