A cider brand has launched the first fruit flavour in its 103-calorie range.

Magners has unveiled the Magners Orchard Berries Light and Magners Pear Light bottles - 4% ABV and 4.5% ABV respectively - which are aimed mainly at 20-30-year-old women who are keen to enjoy an alcoholic beverage without piling on the pounds.

Ed Shoebridge, Head of Customer Marketing at C&C Group, said: ''The new additions to the Magners Light range will attract a variety of audiences but particularly 20-30 year old female drinkers who love the original flavour and refreshment of regular Magners, but are looking for fewer calories.

At 103 calories per bottle, Orchard Berries Light is the first new flavour to be released and is available in 4x330ml pack from selected Tesco, stores.
