The Loch Ness Monster has vanished.
The legendary Scottish monster has not been seen yet this year and the last new entry in the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register was recorded in October 2022.
Nessie obsessive Eoin O’Faodhagain keeps eyes on the monster via webcam and blames "atmospheric conditions" on the lack of sightings so far in 2023.
He said: "I think the atmospheric conditions of late are making it unsuitable for Nessie spotting."
However, the monster is often reluctant to make appearances in the early months of the year as Eoin had to wait until March 30 before making the first sighting of 2022.
It has sparked rumours that the legendary creature may have migrated to warmer waters for the winter as something resembling Nessie was sighted off the coast of North Carolina earlier this month.
There have also been repeated sightings of the monster in central Africa.
