Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano is set to watch the Rugby World Cup from Space.

The 43-year-old engineer has revealed his plans to rally on his home team from the International Space Station when they take on South Africa on Friday (04.10.19).
In a message of support to the players, Parmitano said in a video posted by the European Space Agency and the Italian Rugby Federation: ''You are a team and have to work all together to reach your goal, which is that of winning.''
Parmitano - who is also a Colonel and pilot for the Italian Air Force - became the first person to DJ in space in August.
