Food lovers can travel the world by becoming a chief buffet officer.
Hotels.com have teamed up with the reality TV star Sam Thompson in a bid to find the nation's first-ever 'Chief Buffet Officer'.
The successful candidate will have a budget of £5,000 to stay in top hotels across the globe and will be rating the key parts of a great breakfast – variety, quality and how Instagram worthy they are.
The new competition launches as research from the website reveals that the nation is bonkers for breakfast buffets. Three quarters of Brits can't wait to tuck into one when restrictions on holidays are fully lifted after the pandemic.
The research also found that 62 per cent of holidaymakers will get up early to beat the crowds for a breakfast while 15 per cent even confessed that they would give up sex for a month to have another breakfast buffet.
Sam said: "A good breakfast buffet is my favourite part of a hotel stay. There’s nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline at a hotel breakfast buffet and I’m so excited to be piling my plate high with pancakes once again! If you’re as much a fanatic about fancy pastry platters and free flowing coffee as me, now’s the chance to apply for the job of dreams as Hotels.com’s Chief Buffet Officer."
To apply, breakfast enthusiasts just need to go to the Hotels.com website and enter three reasons why they are perfect for the job.
