Marie Antoinette reimagined
Historic figures have been re-imagined as selfie-obsessed celebrities.
Iconic individuals including Julius Caesar, Cleopatra and Marie Antoinette have been recreated in selfie form by leading smartphone manufacturer, HTC.
The company commissioned a series of images of the important people which have been displayed on fake social media channels showing the kind of captions the figures might write if they were still alive now.
The wacky portraits - reimagined using the HTC Desire EYE which boasts 13 megapixel rear and front facing cameras - include Sir Walter Raleigh declaring his love of baked potatoes and Russian lothario Rasputin on the search for a suitor.
