The toy-makers released a statement via Twitter confirming they are going to add the character - played by Daisy Ridley - to the game due to the high demand.
They wrote: ''We love your passion for Rey, and are happy to share that we will be including her in the 'Monopoly: Star Wars' game, available later this year.''
They previously explained that they didn't include her to avoid giving away any spoilers for the latest film 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
