Staff of the ‘Most Haunted Hotel’ in Britain have warned their guests to beware of their ghostly residents over violent behaviour.
The Adelphi hotel in Liverpool was urged to take precautions after it had been reported that its guests have been tripped up and pushed by angry ghosts “going nuts”.
Ghost hunter Robert Pulme, said: “I have stayed there recently and it is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
“Ghosts since lockdown are getting braver and braver and it seems the Adelphi, known as the most haunted hotel in the UK, is no exception.
“I’ve had reports of ghosts pushing people, tripping them up and even shouting at them as they attempt to sleep. The place is overrun."
Pulme also claimed that the ghosts like to haunt certain guests.
He added to the Daily Star Online: "The ghosts seem to pick on certain individuals in groups, so if you’re singled out, you’re in for a rough stay.
“Some are going nuts. There’s reports of a woman roaming the corridors like in 'The Shining' hotel, just wailing.
“Others say they have spotted couples in olden day clothing just standing in corners and staring at people.
“Some of the ghosts reported are loud and in people’s faces, shouting and swearing, while others are more eerie and stare and try to freak people out.”
