A girl was struck a seagull as she was on a rollercoaster.
Kiley Holman was riding the SpringShot rollercoaster at a theme park in New Jersey with her friend Georgia Reed when the bird hit her in the face.
The 13-year-old admitted that the incident had taken her by surprise but was relieved that the bird only left her with a "tiny scratch".
Holman told WPVI-TV: "When I got shot up, then I saw it. It was going the opposite way and then it came back and hit me right in the face.
"It felt really light and it only left like the tiniest scratch."
The seagull attack was caught on camera but Alena Reed, Georgia's mother, said it was hard to tell what had happened from down below.
She said: "We did not know what happened until they got off. We did see feathers falling from the ride, but at first, I assumed they were tickets."
