A farmer's life has been transformed after he found a diamond on his farm.
Lakhan Yadav was working on his land in India when he stumbled across the gem. He had initially ignored it, thinking it was a pebble, but noticed it shining after rubbing the dirt off.
Yadav took the diamond to experts who valued it at over six million rupees, the equivalent of £60,000.
He explained that he will continue working on the farm despite his windfall and hopes to invest the money into his children's education.
He told The Times of India newspaper: "It has changed my life.
"I hope to get another diamond. I'll work on it for a few more months, perhaps get the lease renewed."
