Man spends 50k visiting famous graves

A man has forked out £50,000 visiting graves of famous people around the world.

Mark Dabbs has travelled thousands of miles across six continents visiting the star-studded tombs of more than 200 dead celebrities including Bruce Lee's grave in Seattle, and Benny Hill in Southampton, southern England.

The 48-year-old nurse said: ''I wasn't very good at history at school. This is my way of educating myself.

''I learn something new every time. Visiting the dead makes them seem more alive.''

Mark has also checked out the grave of the late Doors frontman Jim Morrison in Georgia, America, as well as those of composers Beethoven in Vienna and Chopin in Paris.
