A factory malfunction has caused 'chocolate rain' in a Swiss town.
Residents of the town of Olten found buildings and property dusted in chocolate after a problem with the ventilation system at the Lindt & Spruengeli building during the production of crushed cocoa beans.
Officials have promised to cover any cleaning costs for vehicles that have were covered in the cocoa powder.
Lindt added that strong winds in the area in recent days had caused the powder to spread around the region.
The company added that the powder is completely harmless to people and does not pose any danger to the environment. They also confirmed that the ventilation system has been repaired.
