Capital cities across Europe are swapping fir trees for Furbtrees.
Videos of Christmas trees covered with fuzzy toys are puzzling people online as both residents and tourists have spotted clips and pictures of the adorable creatures that are taking over the internet.
Notable landmarks including Regent Street in London, Paris's Boulevard Haussmann (Place Diaghilev) and Berlin's Brandenburg Gate seem to have ditched the traditional festive fir trees in favour of Furby-adorned 'Furbtrees', much to the fascination of social media users.
It shows that the iconic 90s toy is seemingly taking over the world since its relaunch earlier this year, with Furby set to top children's wish lists this Christmas.
