'Emmerdale' has come out on top in a study into which British soap wastes the least food.
Sainsbury's has sifted through hours of Britain's favourite shows to find which characters leave the least waste.
Paul Crewe, Head of Sustainability at Sainsbury's said: ''Soaps represent everyday British life - albeit a very dramatic version! With so many of us tuning in each week, what better way to bring the issue of waste to the forefront.''
According to Sainsbury's independent, 'Waste Less, Save More' study, the cast of 'Hollyoaks' followed closely behind in second, while 'Coronation Street' took home bronze.
More than 20 hours of recent episodes were analysed to see the way characters shop for, store, cook and eat food to help bring to life the good habits we can learn from the soaps.
The Dingle family in 'Emmerdale' were found to be the ones who are best at not overfilling their plates at mealtimes.
EastEnders' Shirley Carter doesn't do so good at finishing her meals, while Shabnam Masood doesn't store her food properly - leaving the BBC One slumping into last place.
