Dogs love to watch other canines on television.
A new study set out to discover which shows pooches enjoyed watching the most and found that they were happiest when other mutts were on the screen.
The team from the University of Wisconsin-Madison surveyed 1,246 dog owners from around the world and determined that man's best friend also enjoyed watching football, cartoons and car shows.
Age and vision were also revealed to play an important role in how dogs interacted with the TV.
Freya Mowat, lead author of the study, said: "We know that poor vision negatively impacts quality of life in older people, but the effect of aging and vision changes in dogs is largely unknown because we can't accurately assess it.
"Like people, dogs are living longer, and we want to make sure we support a healthier life for them as well."
