A dog stole the ball after invading the pitch during a cricket match in Ireland.

The canine, named Dazzle, stole the limelight during the Women's All-Ireland T20 Cup semi-final match between Bready and CSNI on Saturday (14.09.21) after it darted onto the pitch and made off with the ball.
Announcer Heatley Tector can be heard saying in the footage: "The dog has the ball."
The pooch eventually gave up the ball and was led away from the field by his owner.
Tector added: "I think we've retrieved the ball. It may need a clean. I think this has brought Covid regulations to a whole new standard."
The International Cricket Council (ICC) poked fun at the incident by naming the animal as its honorary player of the month.
