A Catholic priest claims demons have been contacting people by text.
Demons are texting
Stephen Joseph Rossetti performs up to 20 exorcisms a week to free people and their surroundings from "demons and satanic evil" and insisted the number of calls he's attended have "grown exponentially" over the last 10 years.
He added to the New York Post newspaper: "I think this is going to get much worse before it gets better."
And the 70 year old recalled how a woman contacted him when an upside-down cross appeared "burned" into her shoulder, at the same time her father was receiving sinister texts from a demonic presence.
He said: "The texts were a typical demonic rant."
The messages were sent from the woman's phone number but Joseph insisted there was no evidence she'd sent them herself.
He added: "By the way, several exorcists have had the same experience, getting texts from demons, and why not?
“In the past they messed with electronics — TVs and lights turning off and on by themselves. Now they mess with cell phones.”
