A poll of 2,000 18-30-year-olds found Beckham topped the list, ahead of the likes of Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake.
Reflecting on the research commissioned by HTC, Ben Walsh, Head of Marketing UK and Ireland at the company, said: ''There were some great celebrity selfies in 2014 and it's clear that we're more interested than ever, with the average person checking their favourite celebrity's social postings multiple times a day.''
Meanwhile, Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence topped the list of women, ahead of pop stars Rihanna and Katy Perry, who came in second and third places respectively.
