A jogger reported seeing a crocodile on the loose near Queenborough, on the Isle of Sheppey off the coast of Kent, England and while police later said they were "snappy" at getting to the scene, the crocodile turned out to be a toy.
Alongside a picture of the toy - which looked to be about 2ft long - Kent Police Swale said in a tweet: "We were called to reports of a crocodile in Queenborough this morning. Section 1 were snappy in getting there!"
However, the police went on to reveal that the crocodile found was actually fake but quipped they are always keen to bring "investi-gators" on board.
The tweet continued: "Fortunately it turned out not to be real. We are always looking to recruit extra Investi - gators!"
