A couple were left horrified after discovering a live scorpion in amongst their bananas.

Matt Fry discovered the insect as he was helping girlfriend Monika Vasyl unpack the shopping. The pair had presumed that the creature was dead until it began moving across the floor.
Matt was able to contain the critter in jar and has since taken it to Surrey and Hampshire Reptile Rescue, where it's been given a new home.
The 46-year-old builder told The Sun newspaper: ''I realised it was a scorpion straight away and was a bit freaked out but it wasn't moving at first so I figured maybe it had died.
''I even named it Simon the scorpion and was planning on keeping it until it got out and shot across the floor.
''I decided I didn't want it as a pet after that.''
